Last week I went to the Sky Foundation Centre in Soweto Kliptown with one of the Miss SA Teen Finalists Nicole Laxton. It was my first time meeting Nicole who is an amazing young ambassador who has dedicated her funds and time for the children at Sky. We spent the day with these amazing kids who have so little yet are so happy. Even though my official charity for the Mr SA 2012 Competition is the Chrysalis Foundation, I couldn't miss out on an opportunity to be a part of giving back on this great day. We handed over a cheque of R3,500 to the Centre and I know that every cent will go to good use. A big thank you to Bob T. Nameng (the Sky CEO) and of course Nicole. I applaud Sky Foundation for what they do for the community and I wish Nicole the best for the remainder of the Miss SA Teen competition.
