Making the Papers for my Fundraising Event for Chrysalis

October 28, 2011

I am beyond happy to have made the papers again for the third time this past month and this time its extra special because it showed my event which I raised funds for the Chrysalis Foundation and hence has generated more of an influx of traffic toward the Chrysalis Website and brought more attention to the cause. I am humbled to have been asked by the Co-Founder of Chrysalis to be its very first Male Figure and Role Model ever in the history of the foundation, to give talks, lecture and guide some of the girls. There is also an equal opportunity to help out young abused and neglected boys as well. Thank you ladies of Chrysalis: Dawne, Rhona, Natasha, Mpai and all the other amazing strong willed and driven woman who make the foundation what it is. I am truly humbled and I would like to take this opportunity to accept your offer and look forward to my future association with the Chrysalis Foundation in changing a life one day at a time. Thank you! I am truly blessed.

Sincerely

Icon Fundraiser and Event for the Chrysalis Foundation

October 24, 2011

On Friday I hosted my event at the prestigious club Icon in Sandton. The event was opened to the public and I received help from a few of my Celebrity pals who came through to support my fundraiser for the girls of the Chrysalis Foundation. When deciding what to do to raise money I realised that unfortunately not everyone supports charity so theres no better way than to host my event at one of Johannesburg's hottest club venues where some of the public have no clue that a portion of their proceeds for entrance at the door will go towards my charity - the Chrysalis Foundation. A huge thank you to Adeline Mocke (Season 6 Singer on Idols SA); Nadia van der Merwe (FHM Model); Jay Anstey (Actress Isidingo) as well as Naomi Das (Model and Hostess) for coming through. Also Thank you to the Owner of Icon for his generous donation from the door for Chrysalis. But mostly a huge thank you to all of you for coming through to make the evening and my event a huge success that it was. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Your Mr South Africa 2012 Semi-Finalist

1 WEEK AWAY! Party for a Cause...

October 15, 2011

Next week Friday the 21st is my event and fundraiser for the Chrysalis Foundation. After all the hard work of organising and preparations it is now only one week away!

Icon has agreed to host a massive party for me where it's open to the public and anyone can come through. A portion of the proceeds at the door will go to the Chrysalis Foundation.
It is surreal securing one of Johannesburg's most popular night clubs and I am so honored that my event is taking place at this prestigious venue.
Media will be covering my event and I am lucky enough to have some unbelievable celebrity friends who will be attending to support this worthy cause. I hope that everyone will remember the real reason for me hosting this event and remember that we have the opportunity to celebrate a night where those who have can change the lives of those who dont!

Here are the details:
Date Friday 21st October, Time: 9:30pm
Venue: Icon, 12 Fredman Drive, Sandton<?See you all on the 21st!

Sincerely,
Your Mr South Africa 2012 Semi-Finalist

Judging Mr and Miss Nic Diederichs

October 15, 2011

On Thursday night I was invited to judge Mr and Miss Nic Diederichs. I got the opportunity to judge with another Mr SA 2012 Semi-Finalist Mohammed Nassuirio as well as Armand Du Plessis, who are both ambitious men who themselves are passionate about life. I had a great evening. I met some young and driven individuals with big aspirations. It was incredible being amongst this company and I had a great time as one of the judges. Thank you to Nic Diederichs High School for asking me to be apart of this special event.

Sincerely,
Your Mr South Africa 2012 Semi-Finalist
