I recently was interviewed by the New Age National Newspaper which is available across South Africa. I spoke about the sterotypes of 'Pageant Type Competitions' and what that has done with regard to feminists who argue that woman and men who enter these competitions are objectified. I was strong in my opinion and during the interview in seeing that I change the Journalist as well as our country's perceptions of Mr SA being a "pageant' and more about the winner being a role model and ambassador for his country.
